About the Role
We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Cloud Infrastructure team in Dallas. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a modern, multi‑cloud environment and enjoys building secure, scalable, API‑driven infrastructure that supports enterprise‑level workloads.
You will work across AWS, GCP, and Azure, helping to design, maintain, and expand the foundational cloud platforms the organization relies on. The ideal candidate brings strong cloud fundamentals, a security‑first mindset, and the ability to operate confidently across both Linux and Windows ecosystems.
What You’ll Do
Build & Operate Modern Cloud Infrastructure
• Support and expand a multi‑cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Apply foundational enterprise architecture principles including IAM, directory services (e.g., Active Directory), and core networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing).
• Implement and support modern connectivity models such as Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
• Work with cloud‑native tools to maintain Windows Server and SQL Server workloads (e.g., AWS Systems Manager).
Engineer with a Software Mindset
• Build infrastructure with reliability, scalability, and security as defaults.
• Work comfortably across Linux shell and Windows PowerShell.
• Debug and script in languages such as Python and JavaScript.
• Apply security best practices across all layers of the stack.
Make the Cloud Feel Effortless
• Treat cloud platforms as API‑driven ecosystems, not virtualized data centers.
• Leverage automation, cloud‑native services, and platform capabilities to simplify deployment and operations.
• Help teams deploy and run complex workloads with ease.
Operate with Ownership & Clarity
• Make informed technical decisions in a lean, high‑impact environment.
• Navigate ambiguity, document your reasoning, and advocate for sound solutions.
• Drive meaningful improvements even when the path forward isn’t fully defined.
Learn, Question, and Educate
• Ask “why” often and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Manage work in Jira, document in GitHub and Confluence, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• While certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Security+, etc.) are valued, real‑world experience and a bias for action matter most.
Preferred Qualifications
• 6–9 years of experience in a related engineering or infrastructure role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, analytics, risk, and infrastructure teams.
• Strong prioritization and project management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
What We Value
• Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and team‑oriented individuals.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and developer empathy.
• Passion for improving developer experience and platform usability.
• High integrity, trustworthiness, and a strategic mindset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to influence through patterns, frameworks, and collaboration
