We are seeking an experienced GCP Python Developer to support a contract engagement with KeyBank. This role focuses on developing scalable cloud-native applications using Python and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while leveraging Generative AI technologies such as Gemini or Vertex AI.
The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack experience, cloud architecture knowledge in Google Cloud, and hands-on experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient applications using Python, React, and Node.js.
Build and manage cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with emphasis on Cloud Run and Cloud SQL.
Develop integrations with Generative AI tools such as Gemini or Vertex AI.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver new features.
Ensure application performance, reliability, and scalability.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for automated cloud infrastructure management.
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, production issues, and system bottlenecks.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in cloud and AI development.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer or Software Engineer.
Strong proficiency in Python development.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Cloud Run and Cloud SQL.
Hands-on experience with React and Node.js.
Experience with DevOps practices and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Proficiency with GitLab for source control and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience with Generative AI technologies such as Gemini or Vertex AI.
Experience designing cloud-native microservices architectures.
Familiarity with AI/ML integration in enterprise applications.
Experience working in financial services or regulated environments.
